Discover Durham, the county’s tourism development authority that manages Durham Next, has joined a number of local conversations to connect and support the various community safety efforts to ensure that Durham is maintained as a welcoming and inviting destination for visitors and residents alike to enjoy.

The Destination Master Plan recommends Discover Durham’s continued advocacy for safety solutions that support the hospitality community. In response, Discover Durham has held forums for hospitality businesses and hoteliers to connect with community safety information and resources available in Durham County.
